Brian Jeffrey Jorgensen

January 15, 1983 — October 27, 2017

Brian Jeffrey Jorgensen passed unexpectedly from this mortal life on October 27, 2017 at his home in Ogden, Utah. Brian was born on January 15, 1983 at Logan Regional Hospital and spent his first year in Newton, Utah. He was raised in Tonopah, Nevada until fifth grade when his family moved to Las Vegas for five years. That was followed by a move to Nibley, Utah where Brian completed high school at Mountain Crest High. He continued his education at Ogden ATC, completing a four year course of study as an electrician apprentice.
Brian was mechanically inclined and used those skills during his career as a commercial and industrial electrician. He was meticulous in his work and took pride in making his installed work look perfect. He loved working for GSL Electric over the past several years and working on projects such as the Ogden Temple Renovation, Proctor & Gamble, and many other projects. He had many friends and colleagues at GSL, Big-D Construction, and other contractors he worked with.
Brian loved being outdoors camping, fishing, and off-roading in his Toyota Tacoma (back in the day), riding the trails in a UTV, and flying his drone. He especially loved taking his son, Justus, for rides in the side by side. Any day he could spend with Justus was a great day! Brian also loved anything to do with marine and aquatic life and enjoyed going to the Living Aquarium and Seaquest. He loved cooking in his smoker and having cookouts with his family and friends on the weekends.
Brian was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was preceded in death by his Grandparents, Richard and Grace Wilson. He is survived by his son, Justus, his girlfriend Samantha Wright, Samantha's daughters Jasmine, Alexis, and Peyton; his parents Jeff and Betsy Jorgensen; brothers Travis (Janet) Jorgensen and Dane Jorgensen; grandparents Gary and Lois Jorgensen, niece Brianna Jorgensen, nephew Matthew Jorgensen and many other cousins, aunts, and uncles that he loved dearly.
Funeral services are under the direction of Allen-Hall Mortuary. A funeral service will be held for Brian on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 beginning at noon at the Newton LDS Church with a viewing prior from 10:30 to 11:30 am. Interment will take place in the Newton City Cemetery.
Brian, we love you and miss you terribly. God bless you with peace in eternity.
