Adam Michael Perkes

Adam Michael Perkes, 27, passed away February 20, 2013. He was born November 25, 1985 in Logan, Utah to Brent Leo and Brenda Sue Bowman Perkes.

Adam had a great love for theatre and music. He was a gifted pianist and actor. Adam acted in multiple performances in theaters throughout the Denver metro area, most recently as the lead in the musical Batboy. He loved to go on family vacations and attend family reunions. His favorite place to go was Disneyland with his family.

Adam graduated from Bear Creek High where he was selected as Valedictorian. He went on to graduate from the University of Colorado with distinguished honors from the English department specializing in creative writing.

Adam is survived by his parents, Brent and Brenda; siblings, Skyler James (23), Chorus Ann (15), Charity Rose (12) and Sean David (8); grandparents, Leo LaMon and Anna Jean Bair Perkes or Hyde Park, Utah; Ronald Eugene and Gail Bowman of Cupertino, California; and many aunts, uncles and cousins who will greatly miss his dramatic flair and sharp wit. He was preceded in death by his sister, Natasha and grandmother, Marlene Good Bowman Ries.

A Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 27th, 1:30pm, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 9277 W. Dartmouth Place, Lakewood, CO 80227. A viewing will be held at the Church prior to the service from 12 noon - 1:00pm.

Adam will be buried beside his infant sister Natasha in the Hyde Park Cemetery, Hyde Park, Utah on Saturday, March 2, 2013, at 11:00am. There will be a graveside service for those wishing to attend. Local funeral arrangements by Allen-Hall Mortuary.

Adam was and is greatly loved by many. He will be deeply missed until we meet again.
