Aldyth Prince

Aldyth Arleene Prince passed away on Wednesday December 26, 2012 in Logan, Utah. She was born in Ogden on November 14, 1926 to Merl William Brown and Emma Elmira Smith. Shortly thereafter she moved with her family to Logan, and except for a few years living out of Cache Valley, she lived the rest of her life in Logan.

Aldyth was a lifelong active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, with a long history of faithful service. She married Mulloy Prince on October 29, 1950 and they were later sealed in the Logan LDS Temple. They were blessed with three children.

During her life, Aldyth enjoyed outdoor activities which included gardening, camping, and skiing. She also had a great love for her dogs. Her love of skiing at Beaver Mountain lead her to patiently teach mentally handicapped children how to ski. She was a loving mother and grandmother and she will be missed by her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband Mulloy. Aldyth is survived by her children, Ken (Sue) Prince of Ogden, Utah, Lesley (Jeff) Perkins of Young Ward, Utah, and Lori Peterson of Ogden, Utah, Her surviving siblings are; Barbara Brown McKnight of Freeport Illinois, Bonnie Young of Logan, Utah, Lionel (Maj-Britt) Brown of Midvale, Utah, E. Merl (Bonnie) Brown of Olympia, Washington. and 13 grandchildren and 17great-grandchildren and 3 on the way.

Services will include a viewing for family and friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at the Allen-Hall Mortuary on 34 East Center Street in Logan, Utah. A graveside service will be held in the northeast corner of the Logan Cemetery at 11:00 am on Wednesday, Jan 2, (please gather/meet at the graveside). Following the graveside service, family and friends are invited to join us for in an open house celebration of her life at the LDS 8th Ward building located at 325 Lauralin Drive in Logan, from 12:00 to 2:00 pm.
