Alex Kay Jensen left this life unexpectedly at his home on July 31, freed from the
physical pain, deteriorating health and mental anguish that had befallen him. He was born
in the Mt. Pleasant, UT Hospital to Barbara Breinholt and Charles H. Jensen. In his early
years, summers were spent in Ephraim, UT and fall winter and spring in Logan,UT. At
age three he moved to Spanish Fork, UT and at age 8 to Logan, UT where he spent the
remainder of his life.
Alex was an active youngster, which, on occasion, caused a small amount of
consternation to those around him. He played football in youth leagues, at Sky View
High School and at Snow Junior College and he wrestled at 190 pounds at Sky View. He
completed his Associate degree at Snow College where his specialty was Finish
Carpentry.
Upon returning to Logan, he found employment in construction. He was employed by
Brooks Rash Construction for many years and left his mark on much of the excellent
finish carpentry in many homes in Cache Valley. He was employed by several other
companies and individuals as well.
Alex enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting with family and friends and he enjoyed
lighting a fire under Dutch Ovens. Alex was kind and thoughtful to those around him and
frequently provided aid or assistance to people in need.
Alex married ReNee Price. Together they had three children, Andrea Lynn, Nicole and
Shawn. He is survived by his estranged wife and children, his parents and mother-in law
Virginia Price; sisters Janae Skabelund (Brent), Karen Ruth Albiston (Richard), Suzanne
Hansen (Cory), Elizabeth Gundersen (Phil) and Jamie Nielsen; brothers Chad (Rozanne)
and Paul (Julie).
The funeral will be held at noon on Wednesday, August 5,2015 at Logan Third Ward
Chapel, 250 North 400 West. Friends may visit family from 10:30-11 :30 prior to the
funeral services. Burial will be at the Millville-Nibley Cemetery. condolences and memories may be shared online at
