Alice Crookston Jensen

Our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Alice Crookston Jensen, 92, died Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011, quietly at home.

She was born Feb. 6, 1919, in Logan, Utah, to Newell James and Ethel Magdalene Smith Crookston; she was the second of six children.

She married Horace Lorenzo Jensen in North Logan on June 28, 1941, by her father. They were sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on June 16, 1942.

She was active in the LDS church and served in many positions including Primary president. She and Horace served an 18-month LDS mission in the California Fresno Mission. She also served in the Logan Temple for nine years as an ordinance worker. She was a very loving grandmother who always made sure you had a chocolate chip cookie.
