Alta Beth Wayman Brunson, 84, passed way at the Logan Regional Hospital Wednesday, October 31, 2007 from complications incident to age.
She was born December 19, 1922 to Aida Allen Wayman and John (Jack) Wayman in Logan, Utah. She was the second of four children. Her parents, sisters Lorraine Wayman, Barbara Wayman Quate Brunson preceded her in death. Her brother John Allen Wayman survives her.
On July 14, 1942 she married Max Ellot Brunson in the Logan Temple. They had a studio in their home until they opened the first of three studios on Main Street in Logan. She was a graduate of Logan High School. Alta (Abee) and her husband owned and operated Brunson's Colonial Mansion where Max had his studio and Alta was the wedding planner and caterer. She was a member and recognized as a Master in Photographic Artistry by the National Professional Photographers Association. Alta was a member and served as past president to the Utah Professional Photographer's Guild, and Intermountain Professional Photographer's Association. She was a member of the Logan Lady Lions Club Organization. As a member of the LDS Church she was a den Mother, primary teacher, and she served on the Mount Logan Stake Relief Society Board.
She is preceded in death by her husband Max Ellot Brunson Sr. her children Max Ellot Brunson Jr. and his wife Kathy (Carter) Brunson, Peter Brunson and his wife Annette (Loveless) Brunson, Larry Brunson and his wife Debbie (Fluckiger) Brunson, Bonnie Brunson, Norene Brunson Snyder and her husband Steve Snyder, Julie Brunson Erekson, and James Brunson and Faye (Burklow) Brunson (deceased), 23 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren, and I great-great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday November 3 at 12 Noon at the Crockett Ward 325 Lauralin Drive in Logan. Friends and family may call at Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center St in Logan on Friday Evening November 2, from 6 to 8PM and prior to the services 10:30AM to 11:30AM at the Crockett Ward.
