Alton Lavor Bird

January 6, 1935 — June 4, 2021

Alton L. Bird, 86, passed away June 4, 2021 at home in Mendon with his wife by his side. They shared 32 years of precious memories together.

Alto grew up in Mendon all his life. He attended school in Mendon and graduated from South Cache High School.

He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He loved his childhood years at home and with his family and grandchildren later in life.

He was one of a kind; special to many friends and family. He loved the Mendon mountains and farming. He always loved and cared about animals.

He is survived by his wife, Trenna, three step sons, Justin (Michelle), Jake (Shelley) and Jeff (Mandy) Peterson. He has seven grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Family was always the most important thing to him.

His family thanks all the help from CNS Hospice the last few months. Thanks also to Mendon 4th Ward family.

A viewing will be held prior to the service at the Mendon Stake Center, at 460 S. 100 E. in Mendon, UT. Viewing will be from 10:00 to 11:30 AM. The funeral service will begin at 12:00 PM on Thursday, June 10th. Burial will follow in the Mendon City Cemetery.
