Alvin Stuart Haslam died April 17, 2013 in Wellsville, Utah at the age of 92.
He was born February 19, 1921, in Wellsville, Utah, the son of Alvin Maughan Haslam and Eva Scoffield Stuart. He married Rhoda Edith Tracy Mcbride on July 29, 1939, they were sealed in the Logan LDS Temple on July 26,1951. Edith passed away on October 14,1997.
Dad grew up and attended school in Wellsville, Utah. He helped his dad on the farm and worked on the Maron McBride Ranch. He has been a farmer all his life and also worked construction and at Whites Pipe Co. in Ogden, Utah. Dad was a very hard worker and was always helping neighbors. He loved his family and was a very fussy, neat person, as you could tell by his farm and home.
He enjoyed dancing, riding horses going fishing and deer hunting and going to breakfast on Sunday morning.
He is survived by two brothers, Seth Haslam and Dean Haslam, his children, ReNae Tracy (Patrick) Miller, Shirlene Tracy (Lee) Bailey, Jerry (DeAnn) Haslam, Micheal (Debbie) Haslam. He has 14 grandchildren and lots of great-grandchildren.
A family viewing will be held on Monday, April 22, 2013 from 10:30 to 11:30 AM at the Allen-Hall Morturary, 34 East Center St, Logan, Utah. Graveside services will be at 12:00 PM at the Wellsville Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at
