Alvin Chester Kidman

Alvin Chester Kidman, passed away in Savannah, Georgia on December 22, 2008 of heart failure.
He was the eldest son of Chester W. Kidman and Isabel Simpson Kidman of
Mendon, Utah. He was a member of the LDS church. He attended South Cache Highschool. He grew up on the farm and worked a saw mill.
He met and married Joyce Drake on Jan. 26,1951 and had a daughter, Kamie Lee. Later divorced. He served in the Korean War as a M.P. in the United States Army. When he returned home his adventurous spirit took him in several directions, deep sea diver, salvaging metal from ships, towing props for movie studio's and scrap metal business. He married Mary and had a son Mathew. Later divorced.
He was preceded in death by parents, and daughter Kami.
He is survived by all his siblings: Geraldine Maurer, Mendon. Georgia (Dave) Edlund, Mendon. Kay Welch (Harry), Paradise. Dennis (Julie) Kidman, Mendon. Larry (Kathy) Kidman, Providence. Matthew Kidman, California, granddaughter Nicole.
Graveside services in Mendon Cemetery on Dec. 27,2008 at 1200 noon. No flowers please. Arrangements under the direction of Allen Hall Mortuary.
