Our precious, Amanda Lee Bodine, 26, of North Logan, was taken away, in the arms of angels, February 7, 2015. Amanda was born October 30, 1988, in Logan, Utah. She attended Lewiston and Summit Elementary. She graduated from Fast Forward Charter High School in 2008. Amanda just finished her CNA certification, and was currently preparing for her state boards. Amanda was a fun loving and happy young woman, who loved family, friends, and all animals, especially her baby dog, "Leisha". Amanda was given a second chance at life through a generous donor of a new pancreas and kidney, in June 2014. Her recovery was miraculous.
Amanda is survived by her parents, Jay Bodine (Heber) and Jeff and Jan Tingey (North Logan), a brother, Nyals Bodine and' a sister Samantha Leonard (fiance' Justin Moore). She is also survived by a grandfather, Wilford Durrant, and Grandmothers Lawella Nielson and Lala Hatch. She was preceded in death by her grandmother Carol Durrant and Grandfather Bob Nielson.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 12, at the North Logan LDS church, located at 1650 East 2600 North, at 11:00 a.m. A viewing will be held at the Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center Street, Logan, Wednesday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and at the church from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. on Thursday.
