Goodbye, Anita A. Read. Born Anita Amelia Eubanks on March 4, 1949, Milwaukee, WI. She left us August 21, 2011. She was at her home in Logan, Utah, in the scenic valley that she loved.
Wife, mother, grandmother, person extraordinaire. Anita was one of those individuals who did just about everything in life: farmer, entertainer, hairdresser, family nurse practitioner. She was a person of strong conviction and followed those beliefs relentlessly.
Music was her passion, while practicing medicine was an expression of her boundless compassion. Her love of family was limitless. Every task pursued was at the highest level and left everything better than how she found it. Anita had an infectious, energetic personality that drew everyone she knew to her. She was always ready with a joke or a silly anecdote.
She is survived by her husband, the love of her life, Robert B. Read. They were married for 30 wonderful years. She also leaves behind her three children Becky Peddler, Philip Read and Kameron Cox and grandchildren Brandon, Cassandra, Kiara, McKenzie, Justin, Kamie, Tucker, Morgan and Shelby.
Thank you for letting us be a part of your life. Thank you for all of the love, the laughs and the music. We will miss you so much.
Services will be held graveside 11:00am, Thursday, August 25, 2011, at Logan City Cemetery, 1000 North 1200 East Logan, UT 84321.
