Ann Rock Beck , 90,passed away on November 29, 2014 at Legacy House in Logan, Utah where she had resided for the past three months.
Ann was born February 25, 1924 in Avon, Utah to Frank and Ellenor (Nellie) Rock. She was the 7th of 8 children.
She attended elementary school at Paradise and South Cache High School in Hyrum. She married her High School Sweetheart: Dewey Fensky Beck in Preston Idaho on January 26, 1942 and was later sealed in the Logan LDS Temple.
Ann is survived by her two children: Dennis Dewey (Laurel) Beck, Layton, Utah, and Kathy (Richard) Birch, Hyrum, Utah; four grandchildren: Stefanie Auger, Eric Birch, Jon Beck and Jordon Beck, and three great grandchildren: Cassey, Elyssa, and Zach Auger.
Ann was a devoted mother and grandmother, and a loving, supportive wife to her husband. She was a great cook, seamstress, and had a great talent for handiwork. She made many beautiful afghans, crocheted doilies, and quilts. She and her three sisters spent many enjoyable times together quilting.
As a member of the LDS 19th Ward, Ann served faithfully in the Relief Society as a visiting teacher and also as a visiting teaching supervisor. She also coordinated the Relief Society quilting projects. Ann was an active member of the Eliza Nyman Olson Daughter's of the Utah Pioneers. When her children were in school, she was active in the PTA.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey, her parents, Frank and Elenore Rock, her brothers: Frank, Dick, Arch and Jack, and her sisters Lenore, Beth and Phyllis.

A special thanks to the staff and aides at Legacy House for their care and genuine interest in Ann and to Anna and her staff from the IHC Hospice.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, December 5th at the Allen Hall Mortuary Chapel, 34 East Center Street, Logan. Viewings will be held at the same location on Thursday evening, December 4th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m and on Friday from 10:30 to 11:30 prior to the funeral. Interment will be at the Paradise Cemetery.
