Ann Robinette Corry, 79, passed away peacefully in her sleep early morning on June 15, 2023. She was born on September 4, 1943, in Brigham City, Utah, the daughter of Dee Willis Robinette and Ruth Marie Jensen.
Ann married Rodney Preston Corry on March 7, 1970, in Las Vegas, NV. They were later sealed in the Logan LDS Temple.
Ann was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She served faithfully in many callings including Relief Society President, Young Women’s President, Primary Music Leader, with her last calling as her ward’s chorister.
Ann loved people. She loved her job as a beautician and made many lifelong friends during her career. After she retired, she used her skills by volunteering at rest home salons, which she loved. Her hands were always busy perfecting new skills such as sewing, crocheting, knitting, quilting, bead work, baking, playing the piano, and giving her favorite hand gesture to whoever she knew it could make smile.
Ann is survived by her husband of 53 years, Rodney Corry and her children Michael (Paul), Jonathan (Jessica), Tyler (Maria) and Leslie, her stepdaughter Denise (Riann), her first-born Heather (Ron), many grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings Stuart (Jackie) Robinette, Julie (Reed) Ernstrom, Steve (Kristie) Robinette, sister in law Linda Robinette and brother in law Jay Wardle. She is preceded in death by her parents Dee and Ruth Robinette, father and stepmother-in-law Preston and Ramona Corry, Mother and stepfather-in law Hilda and Francis Stokes, brother Jay Dee Robinette, and sister Janet Robinette Wardle.
The funeral services will be held at the Lehi 17th ward chapel, 1631 E 900 N, Lehi, Utah on Thursday, June 29, 2023, at 11:00 am. A viewing will be held that morning from 9:30am - 10:45 am at the church house. Interment will be in the Millville, Utah cemetery.
