Providence, Utah---Annelie Johnson, 28, passed away on Saturay, February 18, 2006 in Ogden, Utah due to complications following surgery. She was born in Bountiful, Utah on April 21, 1977, the youngest child of Glen and Carma Johnson. She attended grade school in North Salt Lake and Bountiful and participated in the satellite program for advanced students in grades 3rd to 6th. She attended South Davis Junior High and graduated from Woods Cross High School in June 1995. She earned degrees in Molecular Biology and Biology Composite Teaching from Brigham Young University on April 21, 2000. On December 17th 2005 she received a Master's degree from Utah State University in Elementary Education. She was looking forward to pursuing her love of learning.
She taught 7th grade science at Mount Logan Middle School for the last 6 years. She was loved and admired by all of her fellow teachers and students and many parents. Annelie inspired many to love science.
She was a member of the USU 64th Ward where she was a temple prep teacher and a member of the ward choir.
She loved to teach, read, travel, and attend the temple. She loved to do genealogy and wrote life histories of her grandmother, Jennie Houghton and great grandmother, Lillie Deal.
Annelie is survived by her parents, Glen and Carma Johnson, her brother, Kimber, of Scottsdale, Arizona and his daughter Karma Ruby, Nathan Shey (Jody) of Kaysville, Utah, and their daughters, Chelsey, Rachel, and Madelyn.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday February 22 at the Logan University 64th Ward (750 East 1300 North, Logan) at 11:00 AM. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, February 21 at Allen-Hall Mortuary (34 East Center Street, Logan) from 6-8 PM, and from 9:30-10:45 AM on Wednesday at the church prior to services. Interment will be in the Bountiful City Cemetery Wednesday at 3:00 pm. Condolences may be extended to the family by going to
