Arlene Clark Harrop Brown

June 18, 1920 — June 23, 2009

Arlene Brown, 89, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at McKay-Dee Hospital incident to age.
Arlene was born June 18, 1920, to Emmal Sewell Clark and Ette Maude Dinsdale in Ogden, Utah. She attended Ogden city schools. Arlene married Frank M. Harrop in 1940, he passed away in 1964. She subsequently married Lloyd “Doc” Brown in 1968 who passed away in 1998.
She really enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing, crocheting & pinochle.
She is survived by her children, Jeanne (Larry) Polson, South Weber; Carol (Gene) Poncelet, North Ogden; Steve (Ann) Harrop, Huntsville; Ron Harrop, Hyrum; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Her sister, Marva (Harold) McFarland, West Weber. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, two brothers, son, Dennis and step-son, Andrew.
Thanks to special friend and caretaker, Camille Fackrell, IHC Logan & Ogden hospitals, Alpine Home Care, Aspen Care Center, Specialty Nursing Services for their excellent care, and Janice Bingham for making mom beautiful.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM. Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at the Hyrum City Cemetery. There will be a viewing at Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center Street, Logan on Wednesday from 11:30 a.m until 12:30 p.m.
