With heavy hearts, we announce that Barbara Ann Fackrell Bindrup has returned to her heavenly home on October 14, 2022. Barbara was born September 2, 1936 in Logan, Utah the fifth out of six children born to Bernard H. and Alta Schlappi Fackrell. Growing up in Cache Valley, she spent many happy days attending school and playing with her siblings, cousins and friends. Barbara married Karl Alanson Bindrup on November 25, 1965, at her parents home in College ward. On September 15, 2022 she was able to enjoy her dream of being sealed to her loving companion of 57 years in the Logan Utah Temple. They spent 56 years living in their beloved home in River Heights before moving to Providence Utah. Barbara and Karl have a deep love of their beautiful State traveling many miles boating, riding snowmobiles and living in their many motor homes. Barbara was an organized homemaker and kept an immaculate home and always had a beautiful, manicured yard. She enjoyed working at Spindler Construction for 28 years, keeping their payroll in order and making sure the office was running smoothly.
She is preceded in death by her father Bernard, her mother Alta, a daughter Judy (Jack) Cole, a sister Alta Nadine Fackrell, her brothers Bernard Lee (Julona) Fackrell, Jerry G. (Frances) Fackrell, Douglas L. (Camille) Fackrell. She is survived by her husband, Karl Alanson Bindrup, their children Alan K. Bindrup, Cindy R. (Steven) Allison, Randy W. (Ruth) Bindrup, Debra R. (Dale) Carlson and a sister Patricia F. (Stanley) Summerill.
We would like to thank Bishop Merrill, John and Cynthia Olsen, Jami, Eryn and Monica Thunell, Sam Darley, Beckie Anderson, Heather Pace and Mary Page for their tender care of Barbara and Karl.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday October 19, 2022, at the Providence Cemetery in River Heights, Utah at 10:00 A.M. Interment will be in the Providence, Utah Cemetery.
