Barbara J. Clark

August 17, 1917 — August 19, 2013

Barbara Jardine Clark 96 passed away August 19, 2013. Born August 17, 1917 in
Clarkston Utah the 2nd child to Andy and Phoebe Jardine. She married Venis Clark in the
Salt Lake Temple on September 4 1944. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and
great grandmother. She was an active member of the LDS Church. She held various LDS
Church positions. She was blessed to have been given a special spirit that she cared for
and raised for 52 years. She worked at Sunshine Terrace for 8 years so she could drive
her daughter and other special needs children to school.
She was a member of DUP and enjoyed the monthly meetings. She will be remembered
for the summers, "when she would say 'come in and set awhile" on her front porch to
visit with friends, family and neighbors.
She is survived by 2 sons, Ralph J Clark (LaNora)-Portage Utah, Lloyd T. Clark-Logan,
Daughter, Ruth Ann Clark-Logan and Sister Kay Godfrey- Clarkston. She was preceded
in death by a daughter, Jane Clark, her parents, Andy and Phoebe, her husband, Venis, 2
sisters, Helen and Rhea, brother, Edwin and daughter-in-law, Carla Clark.
She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Logan Nursing and Rehab
for the wonderful care these past 2 1/2 years.
Funeral Services will be held at noon, Friday, August 23, 2013, in the Clarkston ward
chapel (25 East 100 South, Clarkston) with Bishop Edwin Summers conducting. Friends
may call from 6 to 8 pm Thursday, August 22, at Allen Mortuary (420 East 1800
North) in North Logan and 10:30- 11:30 am on Friday at the church prior to services. Burial will be in the Clarkston Cemetery. Condolences and thoughts may be expressed to the family online at www.allenmortuaries.net .
