Barbara Morrison Goodsell

September 11, 1951 — November 18, 2010

FRANKLIN- On November 18, 2010 our loving mother, Barbara Kristine Goodsell, passed away into God's waiting embrace due to cancer.
She was born on September 11,1951 in Logan Utah to Etta LaRue Morrison and Joseph Dilworth Morrison of Franklin Idaho. She was the fourth child in a family of ten.
She loved to help out on the family farm and was a great help with her younger brothers and sisters. She enjoyed camping, fishing, horse back riding and hunting with her family.
On June 1, 1968 she married the love of her life Darwin Eugene Goodsell of Logan Utah with the marriage solemized in the Logan Temple on August 12, 1989. Together they brought seven children into the world.
She loved to go camping and fishing with her family taking time to teach us all the beauty of everything around us. She enjoyed knitting, crochetting, sewing, gardening, canning, and tying blankets for the family, and four wheel rides with dad. Never saying a cross word she showed us all never ending love, sacrifice, patience, forgiveness and understanding.
She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She cherished working in the primary and nursery and helped nuture the childrens love of God. She did numerous Humanitarian projects and took great pride in helping others.
She was employed by Schreibers Cheese in Logan for 30 years as a machine operator. Her coworkers loved to be around her with her loving, caring and positive attitude.
She is survived by her seven children Serena Kristine (Russell) Bowman, Preston; Stacie Gene Goodsell, Franklin; Christopher Lee Goodsell, Boise; Tami Lyn Goodsell, Franklin; Carrie Ann(Daniel) Sargent, Logan; Adam Darwin Goodsell, Franklin; and Emily Louise (Jess) Byington of Providence. Her father Joseph Dilworth (Dilly) Morrison, her brothers Joe Morrison, Melvin (Kristen) Morrison, Greg (JoBeth) Morrison and Brent (Jamie) Morrison. Her sisters Tauna (Dale) Rawlins,Evelyn (Larry) Young, Betty (Charlie) Gentry, Sherry (Curtis) Pitcher and Beth Anne (Trini) Creger,18 grandchildren and one great grandson. She was preceded in death by her mother Etta LaRue Morrison.
On July 7, 2010 she was diagnosed with brain cancer. She endured chemotherapy and radiation treatments and through it all she kept a positive attitude, smiled, laughed and continued to worry about others needs and never complained. She was an inspiration and a wonder to us all never doubting the love of God and his plan for her.
She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
The family would like to give special thanks to the nurses at the Logan ICU for their loving care and compassion.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2010, at noon at the Franklin Stake Center
Friends may visit at the Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 E. Center St., Logan, on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8, and at the stake center on Wednesday morning from 10:30 to 11:30.
Interment will be in the Franklin Cemetery. Memories and condolences may be shared with the
