Becky Sue Pierson Lyle peacefully returned to her Heavenly Father on September 26th, 2014 at the vibrant young age of 57. Becky was diagnosed with a rare cancer in April 2014 and continued to fight with everything she had until the very end. She passed on peacefully after saying goodbye to her family.
Becky was born in San Francisco California in 1957 to Daniel and Lucille Pierson. She was the youngest of 5 children. She grew up in the Bay area where and went to Clayton Valley High School where she soon met the love of her life Steve Lyle.
Steve and Becky were married for 41 years and were blessed with 4 beautiful children (Jason, Jarman, Shannon and Jordan). Steve and Becky were sealed in the LDS Temple for all time and eternity. Becky was so proud of her children and each of them will continue to be a reflection of her.
Anybody who was fortunate enough to know Becky was better because of it. Becky was full of life and an example to us all. Becky was truly beautiful, both on inside and outside. The word best used to describe her would be selfless. Becky was all about service and giving of herself to family, friends and all of those in need. Becky was a true saint, truly one in a million.
Becky is survived by her husband Steve her children Jason, Jarman and Shannon, her father Daniel, sisters Kate and Dana, and brothers Steve and Eric. She is also survived by her in-laws Swanee, Hugh, LaDon, Marcie, Carolyn, Rachelle and grandchildren Scott, Kalie, Tyler, Colton, William, Braxton and the upcoming twins. Becky is preceded in death by Ray, Lorraine, Jordan and Lucille.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2014 at the Cobblestone 1st Ward LDS Church located at 420 West 100 North, Providence, Utah at 12:00 p.m. with a viewing prior beginning at 10:00 a.m. A viewing will also be held the night before on Wednesday, October 1st, 2014 at Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center Street, Logan, Utah, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Interment will be directly after the funeral at the Wellsville City Cemetery.
