Belva Buttars Skinner Snyder

Born to Lou and Lottie(Jardine) Buttars of Clarkston Ut. (both deceased), Belva was the youngest of five siblings; Flossie Atkinson (deceased), Fawn Lamb, Lottie Lou Phillips (deceased) and Ross Buttars. Belva attended elementary school in Clarkston, Ut and North Cache High in Richmond, Ut That's where she met Gale N. Skinner (deceased) and the two were married August 1951. Together they raised four children; Richard, Katheryn, Michael and Patricia. Gale passed away June 1974.

While on a trip to California she met Richard A. Snyder(deceased) and they married March 1977. After accepting a job in Hanna, Wyoming, Hanna became their home for the next 35 years. Belva was giving another challenge, or she calls opportunity, to raise Richards two youngest boys, David and Danny. In April 2011 Richard passed away and Belva returned to her home town Logan, Ut. Belva resided at Terrace Grove Assisted Living until her passing.
Our family would like to thank Karmon and her staff for the love, care and respect shown to our mother. She made so many friends and loved them all.
Belva is survived by her children, Richard G. Skinner (Sandi), Katheryn Hines (Blain), Michael L. Skinner(Brenda), Patricia Skinner-Bennett (Mike), David Snyder and Danny Snyder (Liz); siblings, Fawn Lamb and Ross Butters.
Celebration of Belva's life will be held at Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center, Logan, Ut., Wednesday, Oct 24, 2018 at 11am. Viewing prior from 9 to 10:30 am. and Tuesday, Oct. 23 2018 from 6 to 8 pm.
