Benjamin Denis Lyman

Benjamin Denis Lyman, age 16, accidentally drowned on June 23, 2006. Ben is forever remembered by his father Scott M. Lyman, mother Kathleen I. Watson, and sisters Tiffany Lyman, Kristy Lyman, and Olivia S. Watson. Ben was born in Layton, UT on May 19, 1990. He spent most of his childhood in Jackson Hole, WYand the last two years in Smithfield, UT. Benjamin was a very gifted artist, and had a knack for making people laugh. He spent most of his free time dirt biking and fixing up his car where he loved to listen to loud music. He was very devoted to school athletics. He especially excelled in football helping bring the Jackson and Sky View teams to many wins. He was a gentle giant with a soft heart who could always lighten the mood.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 28th, 2006 at 9 am. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 in the Skyview High School Auditorium, 520 South 250 East, Smithfield, Utah. Interment will follow at the Smithfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Ben's memory can be honored through donations to the Ben Lyman Memorial scholarship fund, to be awarded yearly to Skyview athletes, payable to Lewiston State Bank, 2190 North Main Street, North Logan, Utah 84341
