Bernice Faye Vollmer

Died 5/15/12 Preston Idaho
Her passing was quick and peaceful. She was surrounded by loved ones.
Faye was born in Sandy Utah to James Tudor and Bernice Ferguson Tudor, she had one sister Carma Tudor.
She married James R. Vollmer in Reno Nevada on 4/4/1946. They lived many years in California having 7 children. After many more years in Las Vegas NV, they retired in Dayton Idaho.
Faye is survived by all 7 of her children Marilyn Kraft, Donald Vollmer, Carma Caudell, Rickie Oldaker, James Vollmer, William Vollmer and Kristine Annable, 20 grandchildren and countless great grandchildren, and great great grand children.
Throughout her life Faye touched many souls, thru her creative nature. She was involved in scouting the majority of her adult life, she received many awards including the Silver Beaver she felt her totem was the Eagle, as part of her scouting experience she attended wood badge and she earned her beads. She started the No. Las Vegas fAIRshow, filling the morning sky with hot air balloons, she helped start the Preston Christmas Festival of Lights. She was active in the LDS Church and enjoyed Temple work and Genealogy. Her great accomplishments and the span of her life will be remembered by many.
Services will be held in the Preston North Stake Center, 310 North State Street, Saturday May 19th 2012
With a viewing starting at 9 am until 10:30 in Relief Society Room. Services at 11am in the Chapel. Interment Dayton Cemetery directly following services.
