HYRUM, UTAH: Beryl Petersen Anderson, 87, loving
mother and grandmother, passed away on Saturday,
August 27, 2005, in Logan, Utah of causes incident to
age.
Beryl was born November 12, 1917, in Granger Utah, the
second child of five children of Albert Eames and Edna
Bennion Petersen. She lived in Granger all of her
young life. After graduating from Cypress High School
she went to work at the Salt Lake Knitting Co. until
she met and married Carl F Anderson on March 4, 1948
in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Over the years they were
blessed with 6 sons, 15 grandchildren and 19
great-grand children. They raised their sons in
Granger, Deweyville, Delta, and Hyrum. Beryl was an
faithful member of the LDS church and served in many
callings over the years.
Beryl's focus was her husband and sons. She loved
caring for them and taking care of her home. She
enjoyed gardening and raising animals. She was active
in the Utah Daughter's of Pioneers for 20 years.
She is survived by her five sons, Frank (Debbie) of
Logan, Clyde of Logan, Roger (Debbie) of Layton,
Craig (Christina) of Nibley, Kevin of Logan; her 15
grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. She was
preceded in death by her husband, Carl on April 13,
2990 and a son, Sidney Ray Anderson.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 12:00 pm in
the Hyrum 13th Ward, 100 North 400 West. There will
be a viewing from 10:30 - 11:45 am. Internment will
be in the Hyrum City Cemetery. Condolences may be
