Rhea Beth Allen Craw passed away Monday, March 21, 2016 in St. George, Utah, at the age of 94 due to complications of pneumonia. She was born at home in Cove, Utah, on October 30, 1921 to Elijah Charles Henson Allen and Elva Geneva Detton Allen, the second of five children.
Beth attended school in Cove and Richmond, Utah, graduating from North Cache High School and LDS Seminary. She married Wayne Craw on September 19, 1941, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They lived in Cove and San Pedro, California, and then made their home in Logan where they raised their four children. Beth was an excellent seamstress and did beautiful needlework. She loved crafts and home repair projects. In her later years, she loved reading, puzzles, and of course adored her family. She served in the LDS church and was a member of the Logan 10th Ward for over 40 years. Beth and Wayne had been married for over 56 years when Wayne passed away in February 1998. She has resided in St. George for the past five years.
Beth is survived by her four children: Ann Craw (Daniel K. "Charlie") Brown, Ogden, Utah; Marcia (Daryl) Moss, Santa Clara, Utah; Gary (Claudia) Craw, Boise, Idaho; and Jan (Michael) Cain, Santa Clara, Utah. She has 17 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Dell K. (Wanda) Allen, Orem, Utah, and her sister, MarDean Davis, Ocala, Florida. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 26 at 1:00 p.m. at Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center Street, Logan, Utah, with visitation from 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. prior to the services. Interment in the Logan City Cemetery.
