Beth Godfrey
Beth Godfrey beloved sister, aunt, cousin, and friend returned to her Heavenly Father on Saturday November 26, 2005 at the Logan Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Beth was born August 15, 1921 in Clarkston, Utah. She was the fifth child of George John and Annie Amelia Thompson Godfrey.
Beth was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She
enjoyed serving in many church callings.
She lived most of her life in Clarkston, Utah, lived in Great Falls, Montana for a
short time, and Logan, Utah.
Beth was very talented in hand work. She loved reading and collecting dolls, stories, and poems. She loved to go on four-wheeler rides and horse rides. She loved visiting with people. Friends were a treasure to her.
She was educated in Clarkston and North Cache schools. She took secretarial
training at Utah State University. Beth worked at a turkey plant and then at Ogden Second Street during World War II. She worked at the Cache County Courthouse in the recorders office and was the secretary of the weed department.
Beth was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Leland and Vaughn Godfrey, two sisters Leone Godfrey and LaNeita Croft, and one great niece. She is survived by one brother Dale (Maurine) Godfrey of Clarkston Utah, six nephews and nieces, fifteen great nephews and nieces, four great nephews, and one great niece.
Funeral services will be held at the Clarkston ward chapel on November 30, 2005 at noon. Friends and family may call one hour prior to the funeral service or Tuesday the 29th at the Allen Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center Street, Logan from 6 to 8 p.m. Interment will be in the Clarkston Cemetery.
