COVE, UTAH: Beth Francis Titensor passed away on September 4, 2012 of complications from a massive stroke. She was surrounded by her loving family in her cherished Cove home.
Beth was born in Santa Ana, CA, to Samuel John Francis and Mabel Smith Lee. She grew up in Tustin, CA with four brothers and two sisters. She graduated from Tustin Union High School then completed two years of study at Brigham Young University where she and her best friend, Emily Bouchard, shared the distinction of being the first female cheerleaders in BYU history.
Beth joins her beloved husband, Frederick Richard Titensor who predeceased her in 1986. They resided in Southern California for many years before moving to Cove permanently. Together they raised seven children: Robin Allen, San Francisco, CA.; Allen Richard Titensor, Park City; Gail Baugh, Logan; Kim Adele White, Carlsbad, CA; Alison Primoza, San Diego, CA; Elizabeth Anne Burklee, Laguna Beach, CA, and Jared Dion Titensor, Seattle, WA. She had 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
A gifted teacher, Beth had always exercised her talents in service to the LDS Church. Beth served full-time missions to Tampa, FL, Atlanta, GA, and Guayaquil, Ecuador. She served in the Logan Temple as a Spanish speaking ordinance worker.
Because of her life-long interest in health, she studied Hatha Yoga and Creative Healing. She generously shared her knowledge and her healing touch to benefit hundreds of people.
A life-long proponent of proper nutrition and exercise, Beth enjoyed vigorous good health until her death. She stood on her head for 14 minutes every day until the last few months of her life. She remains an inspiration to us all.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 12:00 pm in the Cove LDS Chapel with a viewing from 10:00 - 11:30 am. Funeral arrangments by Allen-Hall Mortuary.
