Betty Millican

Betty Stoddard Millecan, 90, passed away peacefully Oct. 21, 2012, in Logan.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Arthur and sister Helen Beckett of Provo, Utah. She is survived by sisters Lou Jeppson (Jay) of Bountiful, Utah, and Joan Compton of Sacramento, Calif. She is also survived by daughters Loray Hattaway (Dave) of Nampa, Idaho, Debra Nelson (Glen) of Sacramento, Calif., and Tiffany Riley of Logan, Utah; as well as 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was born Dec. 15, 1921, in Hot Lakes, Ore., and married in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. She moved to Northern California in the 1950s, to Auburn, Calif., in 1962 and was there until retirement in the 1980s. In 1986, they moved to Logan, Utah, and have remained ever since. She was very active to the end of her life in doing service for her community and church.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, at the Cliffside LDS meetinghouse, 1380 E. 25 North in Logan. A viewing will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The burial will be at 9 a.m. the following Monday in the Logan City Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Allen-Hall Mortuary.
