Betty Jean Richardson

HYRUM- Our sweet Mother, Grandmother & Great-Grandmother Betty (Boop) J. Bodrero Christoffersen Richardson passed away March 13th 2014 at Logan Regional Hospital. She was surrounded by her 5 children. Betty was born May 5th 1927 to Serge M. & Annie H. Bodrero in Logan Utah. Betty was the youngest of 7 brothers, & Sisters who proceeded her in death. She was very close to her sisters, and every memorial day they spent the day visiting the cemetery together. She also took a cruise with her sister Wanda, and neice Julie which she talked about often. She graduated from Logan High School, and was married to William E. Christoffersen on December 6th, 1946 in the Logan LDS Temple. From this union there where 5 children, Dixie (Conley) Schwartz , Clair (Kandis) Christoffersen, Jill (Jim) Cox, Janet (wayne) Douglass, Scott (Brenda) Christoffersen. She had 13 Grandchildren, & 24 Great-Grandchildren. They were later divorced. Several years later She married Blaine Richardson (Deceased), and remained in Hyrum for the rest of her life. Her children will always remember her as a dedicated Mother, Grandmother, & Great- Grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, drinking diet coke, and being surrounded by her family. She enjoyed her Thursday afternoon card games with her lady friends. She also enjoyed playing bingo at the Hyrum Senior Center. She loved being with her family which was her number one priority. She also loved being in her home. Her Granddaughter Angela, & Grandson in-law Jason moved in to her home to help her maintain her way of life that she had been enjoying. A special thanks to the Hyrum 5th ward, Access home health care, Dr. Francis & staff, The Logan Regional Hospital TCU unit, and staff for their compassion in helping us through this difficult time.

Graveside services will be held on Monday March 17, 2014 at 11:30am in the Logan City Cemetery. Friends may at the Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center,Logan on Sunday evening from 6 to 8pm.
