Beverly Ann White Hearn, 71 died Sunday March 20, 2016 following a long and courageous battle with declining health. She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family. Beverly was born on February 2, 1945 in Fairview, West Virginia, the daughter of Lewis and Mildred White. She was one of three children. Her older sister Lucy died in infancy. She and her brother Frank had a close and loving relationship. Beverly was raised and educated in Mannington, West Virginia. She met the love of her life, Jimmy, at a country dance. That was the beginning of a three-year courtship and fifty-four wonderful years of marriage. She was a devoted and loving wife and mother blessed with five children, Deborah, Tammy, Diana, Jason and Robert. After a decade of living in the West Virginia hills, they relocated to the majestic mountains of Utah. She loved and enjoyed many friends and never knew a stranger. She was always up for conversation with anyone but particularly those who had roots in West Virginia.
Beverly was an active member of the LDS church and loved serving the Lord in many positions especially her many callings in the primary. She was often heard sharing her true and everlasting testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ to her family and especially her grandchildren.
She enjoyed gardening and canning vegetables and fruits, especially green beans and peaches. She enjoyed baking and crafting. She loved cardinals and had many cardinal figurines in her collection.
She enjoyed her ten years working as a personal care giver at Saint Barbara Nursing Home in Monongah, West Virginia and after moving to Utah, she worked more than twenty years at the Logan Regional Hospital Laboratory. In her spare time, she was the neighborhood Avon lady.
She is survived by her husband James William Hearn, son Robert (Debbie) Hearn, daughters, Deborah (Ken) Edwards, Tammy (Paul) Beutler, and Diana (Gabriel) Perez, and brother Frank (Carol)White along with 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and her dog Abby, who was always by her side. She was preceded in death by her parents Lewis and Mildred White and her sister Lucy Lucille White and son Jason William Hearn. Funeral services will be held on Thursday March 24, 2016 at 1:00 pm in the Logan LDS 13th Ward Chapel at 195 South 100 East. Friends may visit with the Hearn family on Wednesday evening from 6-8 pm at the Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center in Logan and on Thursday at the LDS 13th Ward Chapel from 11:30-12:30 am.
