Bonnie O’Brien (1951 – 2013)
PROVIDENCE, UTAH: Bonnie O’Brien passed away February 24, 2013 at the young age of 61. She was first of four children (and the only girl) born to Timothy and Vera O’Brien on September 27, 1951 in Logan, Utah. Bonnie grew up in Logan and in 1960 the family moved to Providence, Utah. She graduated from Sky View High School then went on to attend Utah State University. Bonnie worked 30 years for the State of Utah, Department of Community Affairs in Salt Lake City as a Secretary. She thoroughly enjoyed her time there and the friends she made. Bonnie loved trips to Yellowstone, Neil Diamond concerts, MASH marathons, playing the piano in Primary, the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and organ, and being with family. She was currently serving as Treasurer for her camp of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She has quite a sense of humor and loved teasing. Bonnie was preceded in death by her father and her brother Dennis. She is survived by her mother, brothers Bob (Linda) and Charles (Susan) O’Brien; 5 nieces and 1 nephew.
Funeral services will be held at 12;00 pm on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Providence 2nd Ward, 355 Canyon Road, Providence, Utah. A viewing will be held 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. prior to the service.
