Brad Westover

February 2, 1961 — June 2, 2012

Brad C. Westover 1961-2012
Bradley Craig Westover beloved father, son, brother, uncle, and grandfather passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, June 2, 2012. He was 51 years old.
Brad was born February 2, 1961 to Bryan C. and Patricia A. Westover in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was raised in Murray, Utah, attended Murray schools, graduating from Murray High School in 1979. On December 27, 1979 he married Kathleen Ruesch in the Salt Lake City temple for time and all eternity. They divorced in 2009 but remained good friends. From their union came five children Anne, Cory, Jamie, Erin, and Jessica. He was very proud of his children, their determination, and accomplishments in life.
Brad was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed all sports, played on Murray High's golf team for three years, and his favorite sport was baseball....GO RED SOX! He was also a classic rock music buff. A few of his favorites were Led Zepplin, Rolling Stones, The Doors, and The Alman Brothers Band. His all time favorite band was Pink Floyd and his favorite album was Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon.
Brad moved with his family to Logan in 1986 to accept a job as a driver with U.P.S. His career at U.P.S. spanned 20 plus years. He was recognized several times over his career for his excellent customer service. During that same time, for fourteen years, he was a volunteer firefighter/E.M. T. for North Logan fire and rescue. During his tenure, with the fire department, he often said, "I am living the dream." It gave him joy and he was always proud to help others. Remember when at times in life you are given an inch sometimes its okay to take a mile as long as you take someone in need with you.
He is survived by his five children, Anne M. Westover, Cory B. Westover, Jamie Westover, Erin Westover, and Jessica Westover. His one grandaughter Kaylee A. Westover.
