Brandon Kartchner

March 28, 1983 — July 13, 2011

In loving memory of Brandon Kartchner, age 28, of Logan, UT, who passed away July 13, 2011. Brandon was the caring & extremely devoted husband of Shantai Kartchner, the loving son of C. Whitney & Debbie Kartchner & the loving son-in-law of Howard & Nellie Pedersen. He was a compassionate brother & uncle to 5 brothers, 9 sisters, 3 brothers-in-law, 3 sisters-in-law, 3 nephews & 2 nieces. He was an honest & hardworking member of his community, and a dependable friend to all he came in contact with.
Brandon loved the outdoors and spent much of his childhood fishing or catching anything that crawled. Whether taking care of family, friends, plants or lizards, Brandon was in-tune with the needs at hand. He started taking things apart & putting them back together before he could even form complete sentences. His inventive creativity and sense of entrepreneurship started at an early age and kept him occupied with projects throughout his life.
Brandon was completely devoted to anything and everything he put his mind to. He received business degrees from Utah State University in Administration & Entrepreneurship. His hard work ethic and perfectionist personality guided him through many fulfilling and successful adventures. He was the proud owner of The Rage tanning and hair salon and was a friend to all who entered. The success he brought to his business was a benefit to the community as it truly became “All the Rage”. As an employee at Angie’s Restaurant, Brandon was loved & admired by those he worked with as well as the many regular customers.
Brandon steadfastly served in a number of religious callings and touched the lives of many, inspiring them through his experiences and daily example of faith. He has touched our lives, left an imprint on our hearts and will always be part of our lives. We love you Brandon!
