Brenda Joy Barnett

Brenda Joy Barnett was born Aug 1, 1949, in Ogden, Utah. She passed away May 9, in Logan, Utah at the age of 73. She is the daughter of Bessie Virginia Stone and Frank Oliver Barnett. Brenda grew up in Newton, Utah. She attended and graduated from Sky View High School. Brenda had three children; Virginia Bessie Petersen, Gary Norman Petersen, and Christopher Marion Petersen. Brenda also went by the names Petersen, Donahoo, and McBride.

Brenda worked at the Blue Bird Restaurant and at Sunshine Terrace. She loved animals especially her cats Snowball, Tiger, Garfield, and her dog Lady.

Brenda enjoyed going out to eat, going to movies, and spending time with her children. She loved listening to music and Alabama was her favorite group.

Brenda was an endowed member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She enjoyed many friendships she made there.

Special thanks to NES, Rocky Mountain Nursing Home, and all the many health professionals who assisted Brenda in her Earthly journey.

A viewing will be held Friday, May 19, 2023, at 11:00 am, at Allen-Hall Mortuary followed by a grave-side service at 12:00 pm at Newton Cemetery. Special thanks to Brenda's Branch, President Haslam, and his beautiful wife, Karen.
