Brent Reed Hansen, 77, returned to our Heavenly Father on November 3, 2024.
He was born on May 25, 1947, in Logan, UT, to William Dean Hansen and Floretta Naylor Hansen. He was the 5th of 7 children.
Brent went to school in the Logan school district. He had several jobs but the one he talked about most was when he was a security guard at USU where he had many interesting experiences and had many stories to tell. After he retired, he still had a desire to work and got a job at Walmart for a short while.
Brent was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He faced many challenges and struggles but overcame them. He had a spirit of determination and fortitude; never wanting to give up. In his later years, he loved going to the temple until health issues prevented him from attending. His greatest desire before he passed was to go home, visit with his daughters, and get back to the temple.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Willam and Floretta, and four brothers: William, George, Richard, and Paul. He is survived by two sisters, Lee Ann and Carol, and his four daughters: Charlene, Monica, Teresa, and Nicole.
Many thanks go out to his dear friends, Jerry, Kris, and Karen who helped with his care in his later years. A heartfelt thanks goes to his ward family, friends, and neighbors for their visits and for their selfless service. “...When ye are in the service of your fellow being, ye are only in the service of your God.” Mos. 2:17
A viewing will be held on Friday, November 15, 2024 at 11:00 am with funeral service to follow shortly after the viewing at North Logan 1st Ward 1150 E. 2100 N Logan.
