It is with profound sorrow we announce the passing of a true American original Brittney Anne Bowen Kemp.
Britt was born in Logan, Utah on August 11, 1982 to Julianne Sackett and Cory Bowen. She quickly brought joy to her entire family. Britt had them wrapped around her fingers the moment she flashed her brilliant blue eyes in their direction.
From a young age Britt enjoyed all things Disney, whether it be dress up, Disney movies or trips to Disney parks.
Britt's first years were spent in the home of her maternal grandparents. It was there that she formed an eternal bond to her grandmother Janice. They are definitely two peas in a pod.
As the years rolled on, Britt took on the role of big sister to Tia and Bron. A role that was tailor made for her. She supported them in all of their endeavors.
Britt graduated from Logan High School. While there she formed lasting friendships that have endured through years.
After high school, Britt was employed by LeGrand Johnson Construction company.
Britt married her high school sweetheart Ben Kemp on April 24, 2009. To that union two amazing and beautiful daughters were born. Bentlee and Quincee. As well as her two fur babies Mack and Scout. She enjoyed her daily walks with them.
Britt enjoyed spending time with her girls and her family.
Britt and Ben have supported their daughters in all of their interests. She is an amazing mother and has always gone the extra mile for them. Her girls know they are truly loved, and that love will continue onward.
She looked forward every year to the family vacation in the Sawtooth Mountains of Idaho.
She developed a love for musical theater from a young age and enjoyed attending performances throughout her life. As well as country music concerts.
Britt was an immaculate housekeeper. One could literally eat a meal off the floor. She loved Halloween and enjoyed decorating her house and yard.
Other lifetime enjoyments included cheering on the Miami Dolphins, shopping on line (for the girls of course) enjoying a delicious meal at Maddox topped off with a slice of pumpkin pie or just a quiet day at home with Ben and the girls. Her favorite treat was a good ol' bowl of cottage cheese and pears.
Britt was a people person. She received joy from spoiling people near and far.
Britt dearly loved being an aunt, spending time with her nieces and nephews, who brought unmatched joy.
She had an enduring friendship with lifelong pal Lindsey. Thanks for the laughter, Lindsey.
The country has lost a true-blue American patriot through and through. Her family, friends and neighbors have lost a loving, kind, giving, compassionate soul.
