LOGAN - Bruce Herman Hauser, 60, passed away April 27, 2008 due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Bruce was on his Goldwing, riding with his sweetheart Virginia and friends.
He was born May 3, 1947 in Logan Utah, to Herman and Blanche Hauser. Bruce married Virginia Marie Castillo, October 16, 1969 in Alameda, California.
He graduated from Logan High School in 1965. During the Vietnam War, he served with the U.S. Navy. Upon returning home, Bruce attended Utah State University graduating in 1974 with a Bachelor degree in marketing. He was the owner / operator of Bruce Hauser Plumbing.
Bruce led a very active life. He served as President for the Men’s Golfing Association in Smithfield and Men’s Bowling Association in Logan. Recently, he focused his energy on his motorcycle. He just retired as the Utah District Director for the Goldwing Road Riders Association. He also served as the Chapter Director and received the Individual of the Year Award.
Even with numerous hobbies, Bruce always kept his family his highest priority. Survived by his wife, Virginia; brother, Linden; sister, Patty Swainston; son, Bruce (Kim); daughters, Crystal (Johnny) Watson, Linnet (Lance) Worley; grandchildren, Kylee, Douglas, Morgan, Brayden, Vivian and Gilbert. He was preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter Arianna.
A celebration of Bruce’s life will be held Saturday, May 3, 2008, 2:00 PM at Allen-Hall Mortuary. Friends may call on Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Allen-Hall Mortuary and prior to services on Saturday from 12:30 - 1:30 PM at the mortuary.
