Carma Rose Urie, 75, beloved mother, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at Sunshine Terrace. She was born February 9, 1939 to Norine and Nim Rod Urie in Twin Falls, Idaho.
Carma grew up and attended high school in Kimberly, Idaho where she was class president. She married Elmo Shirley Goodey on December 21, 1960 which brought her three girls and one son Teena, Tresa, Tami and Joe. They later divorced. Carma was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints which she served in many callings. Carma enjoyed being with family, camping fishing and anything outdoors.
She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Colleen Anderson, and grandson Coby Nielsen. She is survived by her four children Teena M. Goodey Taylor, Tresa (Deldon) Anderson, Tami (Gary) Tucker, Joe (Wendy) Goodey; siblings Joyce (Dwayne) Farmer, Sharon (Brice) Gilbert, Gilbert (Lydia) Urie, Laura (Farrell) Layne; 16 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, May 29, 2014 at the Providence Cemetery in River Heights at 11:00 a.m. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.allenmortuaries.net .
