Carol Ann Nicolosi

November 14, 1944 — April 27, 2016

Carol Ann Nicolosi, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 in Murray, Utah.
She was third of seven children born to Edward and Ruth Butts on November 14, 1944. Carol grew up in Spring Valley California. She worked as a dental assistant where she met her loving husband George Nicolosi, who was a patient. They were married in March of 1965. In July of 1975 they were sealed in the Los Angeles Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Together they have 5 beautiful children and 15 darling grandchildren.
Carol and George moved to Mammoth Lakes, California where they owned and operated a restaurant and bakery. Together they enjoyed the beautiful scenery and skiing with their family. After 20 years in Mammoth, they moved their family to another beautiful mountain community, Bend, Oregon. They loved the drive to the Oregon Coast and made the trip frequently over the Cascade Mountains. She loved the mountains.
Carol was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She along with her husband enjoyed working in the Portland LDS Temple weekly with beloved friends. Carol loved the gospel and serving the Lord in his temples. After 20 years in Oregon, they moved to Cache Valley, Utah to be closer to their children and grandchildren. For the past 3 1/2 years Carol continued her service to the Lord in the Logan LDS Temple. She served in the church in many capacities throughout her life.
Carol was a wonderful wife, mother and grammie. Her grandchildren love her and will remember her for her hugs, kisses, beautiful birthday cakes, taking them to swimming lessons, her beauty, and applesauce. She had many talents and was greatly loved. She enjoyed sewing, especially mending clothes and stuffed animals for her grandchildren. She loved to travel, taking trips to Italy and Germany with her husband. She took great care of her loved ones. Carol was an amazing cook and loved to share this talent with her family. Family favorites were her glorious cream puffs, manicotti, and Thanksgiving feasts. Everything that came out of her kitchen was magnificent. She was a kind and generous woman who will be greatly missed.
