Logan – Carol Schiess Cox, 76, passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 3, 2017.
She was born on March 30, 1940 in Logan, Utah to Ben T. Schiess and Ila Steadman Schiess. She later divorced.
She graduated from Logan High School in 1958 and later attended Nursing School and received a LPN License and a Can License. She worked at Logan Regional Hospital, the Sunshine Terrace and Logan Nursing and Rehab. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Cannon James Cox.
She is survived by her three sons, Lee James Cox of Scottsdale Arizona, Jared James Cox, of Logan, Utah and Micah James Cox of Lewiston, Utah with 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grand children.
She is also survived by two sisters and a brother, Joan Hooton (Leo) of Taylorsville Utah, Ben Schiess (Marie) of Menan, Idaho and Jenny Smith (Reese) of Logan.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at the Logan South Stake Center, 350 West 700 South in Logan. Friends may call at the Allen-Hall Mortuary on Monday evening from 6 to 8 pm and at the Stake center on Tuesday Morning from 9:00- 10:00AM.
Interment will be in the Providence City Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.allenmortuaries.net
