Carol Gem Koerner Edwards
Born September 28, 1948 in Oneota New York and spent most of her life raising her family in Logan Utah.
A special angel returned to her daddy's arms in heaven on Satuday January 18, 2013.
Carol touched the heart of everyone she met. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, teacher, friend and “nanny” to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Her greatest joy in life was taking care of children whether it be her children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews or the many children she taught as special education teachers aide throughout the years.
Carol has a special soul and will be deeply missed by all who were lucky enough to have known her.
Carol is survived by her husband Michael Edwards of Logan Utah, her daughters Erika Losoya Bassett(Sylvan), Gemmie Estrada(Jason). Her Four grandchildren Keisha, Gemariah, Cruz and Jaydin and three great-grandchildren Eli, Eric and Aaliayh. Her Mother Stella, her brothers Neil(Lorrain), Paul(Marie) and a legacy of family and friends too many to name.
A celebration of her life will be held in the spring.
In honor of Carols dedication and service to children the family asks that donations be made to St. Judes Childrens hospital in her name in lieu of flowers.
