Carol Simpson

February 3, 1934 — June 14, 2012

Carol Lucinda Fulkerson Simpson passed away on June 14, 2012 from pancreatic cancer. She was born in Logan, Utah February 3, 1934 to James Michael Fulkerson and Emma Lucinda Hill Fulkerson. She spent her early years in Smithfield, Utah then moved to Provo, Utah where she graduated from Provo High. She attended Utah State University and was a member of Alpha Chi Omega Sorority. She met Stratford Dean Simpson and they were married in Logan on June 11, 1954. She is survived by her husband Strat, two sons, James Michael Simpson (Jodi) and Ned Christopher Simpson and two daughters, Suzanne Simpson and Jann Simpson Parker (Scott), eight grand children and 10 great grand children. Carol is preceded in death by her infant brother James Michael Fulkerson and her grandson Jeffrey Daniel Hipple.

Carol served faithfully in many callings in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was involved in Daughters of Utah Pioneers, CLIO and loved to play bridge and enjoyed traveling with friends and family the last twenty-years.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am June 20, 2012 at the Lundstrom Park 2nd Ward Chapel, 1260 North 1600 East, Logan. Viewings will be held from 6 to 8 pm on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at Allen Mortuary and Wednesday, June 20 from 10:00 am to 10:45 am. Burial will be at the Logan Cemetery after the funeral service.
