Carole Harris Fisher, passed away December 12, 2006 at LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City. Born April 6, 1936 in Preston, Idaho to Orval Henry Harris and Laura Layne Harris.
Married Hal W. Fisher November 2, 1955 in the Logan, Utah Temple they were later divorced. They had three wonderful sons, Curtis (Cami) Fisher of River Heights, Utah, Rex (Antje) Fisher of Rock Springs, Wyoming and Kile (Jennifer) Fisher of Smithfield, Utah. She has eleven grandchildren that she loved so much. Jamie, Nicholas, Cody, Kiley, Madison, Destrie, Brittney, Sarinja, Jaimy, Cameron and Tashina Fisher. Married Stan R. Halversen February 15, 1986 in Logan, Utah they were later divorced but remained close friends until her passing.
Carole was raised in Fairview, Idaho and worked on the family farm alongside her father. They had many wonderful times together hauling hay, digging beets, milking cows and spending time together. She had six sisters and four brothers. She attended school in Fairview and Preston, Idaho. She graduated from Preston High School. She loved sports, she played on many softball teams through out her life, enjoyed golfing and watching her sons and grandchildren play sports, was a hockey fan and followed the Salt Lake Golden Eagles and later the Utah Grizzlies. She was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. She was a member of the DUP organization and the ExLibris. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served in many callings. She loved attending the temple. She decorated wedding cakes for dozens of people over the years.
Preceded in death by her father, mother, three brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held Monday, December 18, 2006, 12 p.m. at the Logan 9th Ward located at 125 East 500 North. A viewing will be held Sunday, December 17, 2006 6 – 8 p.m. at the Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center Street, Logan and Monday at the church from 10:30 – 11:30 am prior to funeral services.
Interment in Smithfield Cemetery.
