Caroline Andrade Abeyta
August 28, 1952 - August 19,2006
Caroline went to be with Jesus on Saturday, August 19th after injuries suffered in an automobile accident.
Caroline was born on August 28, 1952 in Hubbard, Texas to Leandro and Luz Andrade. She graduated from LaVega High School in Bellmead, Texas. She received a diploma in Christian Ministries from Latin American Bible Institute in El Paso, Texas. She received her BA in Career Arts from Southwestern Assemblies of God College in Waxahachie, Texas. She also received her ESL Endorsement from Weber State University in Ogden, Utah.
Caroline loved people and proved her love through her actions. She recently became the founder of Tu Causa Mi Causa, an advocacy agency. She defended the rights of the misrepresented, especially those with English as their second language. She had recently begun ESL classes in her home. She was also a Mary Kay Cosmetics representative. Caroline also served as pastor of Joshua Ministries in Ogden, Utah.
She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, family, and friends. She loved to dance, laugh and have a great time. There was never a dull moment when Caroline was around. She made us all feel loved and valued.
She is survived by her children: Angela (Justin) Boyd of Ogden, Utah, Rodney (Michelle Poulsen) Abeyta of Logan, Utah, Melodee Abeyta (Ron Hooker) and Sidney Abeyta from the family home, grandchildren: Elijah and Lucas Boyd, Destiny, D’Angelo and Riley Abeyta, the father of the children, Nimrod Abeyta. Her parents: Rev. Leandro and Luz Andrade of Waco, Texas. Siblings: Eva (Rudy) Soza, Ruben Andrade, Sr., Benny (Shelley) Andrade, Sr., Claudia Andrade, Leon Andrade, Jr., all from Waco, Texas and Rev. Mary (Kerry) Roybal of Roy, Utah, numerous aunts and
uncles, nieces and nephews, and cousins, and 3 very special friends, Jake Jeppson, Clyde Bough, and Leticia Arriz Mendes.
She was preceded in death by her grandson, Anthony Tyler Boyd.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 24, 2006 at the Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 E. Center Street in Logan, Utah. A viewing will be held on Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the mortuary and prior to services on Thursday beginning at 9:30 AM. Interment will be in the Logan City Cemetery.
A memorial service will be held at Family of Faith Worship Center in Waco, Texas on Sunday, August 27, 2006 at 4:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Family of Faith Worship Center, 2225 Cumberland Avenue, Waco, Texas 76707 in behalf of the children.
