Carolyn Wyatt Baker, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on November 13, 2022 in Logan, Utah surrounded by her family.
Carolyn was born on April 21, 1938 in Logan, Utah. She was the third child and only daughter of William Leavitt and Nona Goldsberry Wyatt. Carolyn met the love of her life, Max Baker while dragging main in Logan. It was love at first sight. They were married October 12, 1956 in the Logan LDS Temple for time and all eternity. They became the devoted parents of four children who were blessed to come into their home.
Mom’s greatest joy was her family. The thing that we love most about her was how much she loved our dad and showed it through word and deed. She was a devoted mother to her children. She supported them in all of their activities. Making memories and planning fun adventures was important to her. We grew up In a home filled with love. She loved her grandchildren and had a special relationship with each one of them.
Whatever Mom did, she threw her whole heart and soul into, whether it be her family, her friendships, her church callings, or community service. As a young bride, when Mom and Dad moved to Mendon, Mom embraced this charming community. She and Dad helped with countless community events and celebrations throughout the years, especially May Day. She loved the people of Mendon.
Carolyn was a friend to everyone she met, and this endeared people to her. She was cheerful and happy and always looked on the bright side of things. She loved people unconditionally. She was a peacemaker and had a grateful heart. She loved her Savior, Jesus Christ and His gospel.
Carolyn is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Max, her four children, LuAnn Baker, Jenae (Bob) Jepsen, Steve (Lisa) Baker, Kent (Lori) Baker, and 10 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brothers Bill Jr. Wyatt and Clair Wyatt.
She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
The family would like to thank Dr. Michael Stones, Terrace Grove and Sunshine Hospice for their kind and compassionate care of our sweet mother.
