RICHOMOND - A good man left this earth today and we sorrow. Charles Holman Little, born 20th of March 1927 in
Alpine, Utah to Clarinda Holman and Joseph S. Little, passed peacefully in his home surrounded by loved ones on Sunday March 17, 2013.
He attended schools in Alpine, American Fork and BYU. After serving a mission in Australia, he gave his heart to Ruth Aitken. Married in the Salt Lake Temple on December 5, 1952, they were blessed with 6 good children: Clarinda.Wood (Jody), Gavin C. Little (Pat), Howard. Little (Kathryn),
Martin B. Little (Lisbeth), Andrew L. Little(Chris) and Brenda Zaugg (Doug). He was adored by 22
grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his two granddaughters, Breanna
Kaye Little and Sarah Laurene Little; his four brothers, Clarence, Leo, Art, Joseph and sister Mary
Lein. Survived by three sisters, Ora Mae Furgeson, LuGene Hansen and Wanda McGee.
Charles was blessed with good hands. He was actively involved in the care and raising of his children. He enjoyed his oil painting and loved working with wood, creating treasures for his family and friends. He enjoyed restoring cars and never met a car he didn't love! He worked the earth to produce a fruitful garden and taught his children the value of work by his example. His hands comforted and blessed his family and served his community.His favorite Church callings were coaching the Richmond 1st Ward Young Men's basketball team and serving with Ruth in the Logan Temple for 12 years.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday March 23rd at the Richmond 2nd ward chapel at 100 East 150 South, Richmond, Utah. A viewing will be held Friday, March 22nd from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the Richmond 2nd Ward Chapel and from 10:00 to 11 :30 prior to the funeral. Internment will be at the Richmond City cemetery.
