Charles N. Worley, 69. (Chuck, Charlie) Accepted a new challenge, having aced the test of life. Passing away July, 20, 2011 after a championship battle with cancer.
Charles born November 27, 1941 to Amy & Oliver Worley. Charles loved life, family, farming, fishing, hunting, and providing countless hours of service to all those around him. His dedication to the Savior is a model of excellence that should be followed, he served in many callings. But found the most joy home teaching, and working with the young men.
Dad honorably served his country as a marine in the Vietnam war, and his church as a missionary in the northern states mission. Positively influencing the lives of many. Dad’s career at ATK spanned 22 years, culminating in many awards, achievements & friends.
Charles is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Scottie. Sons; Waco (Jamie) of Concord, NH. Lance (Linnet) of Logan, Utah. And Heath of Mendon, Utah. Daughter Jamie Lynn of SLC, Utah. Four Grandchildren, Kennedy, Brayden, Elizabeth & Vivian. Brothers William (Susan) & Michael. He joins the company of his parents, daughter (Meredith) granddaughter (Arianna) Father-in-law (Lynn Shaw) and many friends. We love you, and will miss you.
A special thanks to the nurses and therapists on wing 7, at the Sunshine Terrace. Access hospice care, Dr. Ben Jacob, Dr. Todd Brown, and all the many wonderful friends for all the love and support.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at 11:00am in the Mendon Stake Center, 476 S. 100 E. Friends may call at the Allen-Hall Mortuary , 34 East Center, Logan on Monday evening from 6 - 8 p.m. And at the Stake center on Tuesday morning from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the Logan City Cemetery.
