Charyl married Robert Lee Jensen on June 2, 1954, in the Logan Temple. They were happy to celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary last month.
As newlyweds, Bob and Charyl built a home in Providence, Utah. They later moved to Salt Lake City before returning to Logan where they made their home for 65 years. They raised their family in a historic home in the Logan First Ward. They were blessed with three sons: Steven, Val, Lee and one daughter, DeeAnn. Charyl loved children and was thrilled to be a grandmother to 13 grandchildren: Jeremiah, Amber, Rebecca, Heather, Joshua, Kellie Ann, Amanda, Marissa, Chelsea, Brianna, Forrest, Daniel, and Jacob as well as 28 great grandchildren. She dedicated her life to her family.
Charyl was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She was always willing to serve and held many church callings. Her favorite was teaching in Primary. Charyl had a strong testimony of her Heavenly Father, the atonement of Jesus Christ and eternal families.
Charyl loved the outdoors and spent many summers camping and fishing with her family in Logan Canyon and making memories in the cabin they built in Alpine, Wyoming. She enjoyed traveling, reading, gardening, embroidery and especially spending time with family.
