Christine Weston Webb was born January 21, 1954 in Montpelier, Idaho to George Wesley Weston and Theda Mattson Weston. She had fond memories of growing up with her three older brothers and two sisters. She learned to work hard on her family’s ranch, driving balers and chasing cows with the rest of the family.
After graduating from North Rich High, she went on to earn her associate degree in nursing from Weber State University in 1975. She approached nursing like she did every other facet of her life, with an attention to detail and compassion that made her highly admired by her peers and beloved by those in her care. She married her best friend, Charles Webb, on June 7, 1975. They were later sealed in the Logan Temple on June 9, 1995. Together, they raised three beautiful children, Tiffany, Jeremy, and Kelsey.
Christine was always serving others in her church and community. She was a talented pianist and organist, often accompanying others. She was a gifted cook, seamstress, and gardener, but her greatest talent was that of being a devoted mother and grandmother. She cherished spending time with her children and grandchildren, and the family spent countless summers playing in Bear Lake, going for picnics, or taking trips.
Whatever Chris touched, she made beautiful. It was a gift she had. A gift she nurtured. Taking scraps of paper or fabric or broken hearts and seeing possibility-- nurturing that possibility until it became something lovely and new.
She passed away on August 4, 2016 in Rich County Utah at the age of 62. She will be dearly missed by her husband, Chuck; her children, Tiffany (Brian) Nelson, Jeremy (Crystal) Webb, and Kelsey (Justin DeGooyer) Webb; and her six grandsons. She was preceded in death by her father, George Wesley Weston, and survived by her mother, Theda Weston, and siblings George (Cathy) Weston, Sam Weston, Tom (Vickie) Weston, Alice (Kent) Argyle, and Shelly (El) Mettman.
