Logan - Christine Anne Liddell, 16, lost her life in a tragic car accident on July 6, 2006.
Christine was born August 29, 1989 in Logan, Utah to Sharon Ohlhorst and W. David Liddell.
She graduated this June from Logan High School as an AP Scholar with Honor after having attended Cache Valley Learning Center and the Edith Bowen Laboratory School. She had been accepted into the Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange Program and was looking forward to spending a year in Germany and attending Earlham College upon her return.
Christine had a close relationship with her older sister, Jessica, who loves and misses her very much. She brought great joy and pride to her mother Sharon (Wellsville), father David (Nibley), her aunt, uncle and grandparents; all of whom have wonderful memories to cherish.
She holds a special place in the hearts of her many friends and the lives of those she touched. She loved the outdoors and spent many hours hiking, camping, climbing and kayaking. Christine viewed the world with an artist’s eye. She had a passion for travel, poetry, photography, ceramics, violin and a love of animals.
A celebration of the life of Christine Liddell will be held at the Cache Valley Learning Center, 75 S 400 W, on Thursday, July 13 at 1:00 p.m. The family will compile a book of photos, stories, thoughts and recollections of Christine, and all are invited to contribute to this project. Contributions can be mailed to either of her parents or brought to the service.
Donations in her memory may be made to Four Paws Rescue (1052 Bonneville, Logan, UT 84341) or the Alliance for the Varied Arts Ceramics Program (35 W 100 S, Logan, UT, 84321).
