April 17, 1917 — October 15, 2005

Clara Elizabeth Olsen Schenk passed away Saturday
October 15 at 2:06 P.M. at Williamsburg Retirement
Center in Logan, Utah.

The last wash is off the line. The crescent rolls have
been baked and enjoyed. All of the green beans and red
beets have been canned. No more visiting teaching
reports are due. All the bulletins have been passed
out. No more letters to write. The last session has
been done at the Logan Temple. All of the afghans and
doilies are crocheted. Christmas chocolates have been
dipped, boxed and delivered. Leper bandages and
humanitarian hats are finished. The final volunteer
hours at the county fairs have been completed. The
rose petals have dropped in her garden. She has
completed all her labors which began April 17, 1917,
born to Alma L and Mary Louise Aeschbacher Olsen in
College Ward, Utah.

She has now joyfully taken her last trip to be with
her husband Charles and is anxious to be reunited with
her parents, 9 siblings, and a great-grandson who have
preceded her in death.
Looking forward to being together again are her
children Maureen (Orson) Wilson, Carolyn (Elwynn)
Taylor, and Judy Carlsen, her 10 grandchildren and 26
great-grandchildren; her brother Ray Olsen; her
sisters Vera Stratford and Lorna (Rodney) Jones; many
nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday Oct. 19 at
12:00 noon at the College/Young Ward Church, 2394 West
2200 South, Young Ward. A viewing will be held for
family and friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the

The family wishes to express their gratitude to Mom's
dear friend Phebe Pinder for her constant loving care
and kindness; to the Access Hospice staff and

to her many friends there.
We will miss you MOM!
